Dominique Friart and Hugues Glatigny – accompanied by his sales team – successively took the floor to retrace the history of the brewery, explain the industrial redeployment on the new site and underline the importance of the Pilgrims of Honour programme, with a reminder of the membership criteria.
Pilgrims of Honour Reception
year 2023
The Pilgrims of Honour were welcomed to the brand new production site on Monday 19 June. The Friart family and the entire sales team were on hand to extend a warm welcome to these establishments, which are passing on the history of our brewery and its Pilgrim with loyalty and passion, while respecting tradition and know-how.
The speeches were followed by the official presentation of the 2023 plaques to the Pilgrims of Honour.
The ceremony, held in the new tasting room, was an opportunity to personally thank each of them for their loyalty to our brewery and their professionalism.
This year, we are proud to welcome 8 new Pilgrims of Honour:
- Gorgées – bar à boire (Verviers)
- Le Royal Baudouin Tennis Club (Liège)
- Brasserie Les 4 Lunes (Lavaux Sainte-Anne)
- Le Coin Gourmand (Saint-Hubert)
- Le Sandroli (Plombières)
- La Fontaine (Mons)
- Le Chalet des étangs (Strepy-Bracquegnies)
- Eetcafe d’Akte (Lennik)
Our guests were given a tour of the brewhouse facilities and the new bottling line.
Guided by the brewery’s experts, Ann Friart (Supply Chain Director), Benoît Friart and Leylan Roland (brewmaster), they had the opportunity to learn more about the process of brewing St-Feuillien beers.
A very special surprise awaited our guests at the end of the visit – a personalised Salmanazar de St-Feuillien triple (9L)!
Finally, a walking dinner rounded off the event in style. Our Pilgrims were treated to a selection of delicious dishes, cooked with and accompanied by beers from the Brasserie St-Feuillien. The evening was an opportunity to share some convivial moments and celebrate the inauguration of the new site together.
Cheers!
